At Pose A Paw, our unique studio, we believe that the bond between you and your pet deserves more than a snapshot - it deserves art.

Behind the lens is Mia Len, the creative eye and soul of the studio. (An intentional anagram of my name, Milena, because this page is deeply personal.)

While I didn’t grow up with a camera in hand, I’ve always been a creator at heart. My path has taken me through art gallery curation, graphic design, commercial photography, art direction, and interior design - each one enriching my sense of composition, form, and emotion. My work has been recognized with AIGA awards and shown in New York art exhibitions, including my sculptural wooden wall installations, which now live in a few of the city’s most exquisite homes.

But no matter where life has taken me, my love for animals - particularly dogs and horses (no idea why) - has always been my quiet constant. My first dog was a stray I smuggled home as a kid, and I haven’t been without a four-legged companion since.

Now based in Charleston, South Carolina, Pose A Paw is the culmination of everything I’ve collected: artistic experience, design instinct, and a lifelong love for animals. Here, in our studio, each session is crafted with the care of a portrait, the warmth of a story, and the intention of fine art.

My vision is to create timeless pieces that are meant and belong just to you, works that remind you - every time you see them - just how deep your love for each other is.
